‘my’ music
I have a sparse range of music because I listen to music in more that one language. I also make music hence why I’m doing a degree in Commercial Music. My way of listen to music is totally different to how the average person does, I’m like a scanner that analyses and grabs every little pixel of the picture- apply it to song and you have my listening skills.
I haven’t always listened to music much until I got in to secondary school and for me music really kicked off towards the end of year 9 going on to year 10 as I really started to like rock music but before that I was listening to Chinese music that my parents would buy and when I really got hooked on to rock the Chinese music just seemed real cheesy even to this day I listen to Chinese music and its about love, relationships, breaking up, not being able to have someone- good lord I can not stand that anymore. However if its in other languages, be it metal, dance, rock, folk, hardcore, even classical and electro I will listen to it, because I’m a music producer and I listen to songs for production and sound engineering then it’s about melody, hooks, lyrics and instruments.
